Lila wanted to ride with her brother Oscar, but she couldn't ride a standard bike. She had to sit on the side and watch him, which was unfair!
Many kids living with disabilities miss out on experiences that their brothers, sisters and friends get to have, leaving them feeling excluded and alone.
Lila and Oscar do everything together, but Oscar's favourite thing is riding his bike. Lila's limited balance meant riding a standard bike was impossible for her.
All children like Lila, regardless of their abilities, should have the chance to ride a bike.
This year we have 58 children on our waiting list, hoping to receive a Freedom Wheels bike for Christmas.
